It is said that the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon his) used to pray Tahajjud prayer until his feet became sore. Someone once asked:

“O the Messenger of Allah! Why do you strain yourself though Allah declared in the Qur’an that you were forgiven of all your sins?”

The prophet’s answer was:

“Should not I be a thanking servant?” (Bukhari, Tahajjud, 6).

Also, the prophet said:

“The most virtuous prayer except the obligatory prayers is the one offered by becoming awake after sleep at night.” (Muslim, Siyam, 202-203).

“Two units of prayer performed at night are more beneficial than anything in the world. If I thought that it would not be a burden on my people, I would enjoin it on them.” (Fadail al-Amal, 257).

There is no specific Dua to say, you could ask Allah for anything you want, ask for forgiveness, and thank Allah for everything you have.

So after you finish praying Tahajjud ask Allah for anything even if you think it is something impossible. Nothing is impossible to Allah. Talk all your worries to Allah and ask for his help to overcome what’s troubling you, Allah will always listen to you.

What the word Dua means is having conversation with Allah, so you can say anything, don’t be shy. But if you don’t know what to say to Allah here is a Dua you could say.

Meaning:

O Allah! All the praises are for you, You are the Sustainer of the Heavens and the Earth, And whatever is in them. All the praises are for You; You have the possession of the Heavens and the Earth And whatever is in them. All the praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth And all the praises are for You;

You are the Truth and Your Promise is the truth, And to meet You is true, Your Word is the truth, And the Paradise is true, And Hellfire is true, And all the Prophets are true, And Muhammad s.a.w. is true, And the Day of Resurrection is true.

O Allah! to You I submit, in You I believe, and to You do I rely upon. And to You I repent, And by You I face my adversaries, And to You, I will be judged. So forgive me my previous and later sins, and that which I concealed and revealed; You are the One Who brings forth and suspends. There is none to be worshiped but you. (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
