Here is how to perform prayer:
Takbir: start praying by doing Takbir which is the act of standing, raise your hands at shoulder level and say Allahu Akbar (“God is great”).
Then put your right hand on top of your left hand across the chest and recite surah al-Fatiha and another small surah that you know by heart.
Ruku, which means bowing while facing the Qiblah with the hands on the knees and saying Glory be to God, the greatest,” three times.
Stand Up again, arms at your sides, and say, Allahu Akbar.
Then comes the sujud, where Muslims kneel with palms open on the ground, nose, and forehead touching the ground and they repeat the following three times “Glory be to God, the highest”.
They sit down then do another sujud.
Stand up and repeat the process but this time when you finish the second sujud sit and say the first Tashahhud. That is in the case of four or three Rakat, if it is just a two Rakat prayer then you say the full Tashahhud.
Stand up again and repeat the process and if this is a three Rakat prayer you will say the full Tashahhud.
