Dua for wealth and barakah for the believer | Noor Academy

As life gets harder on us, we should ask for Allah’s help to keep going on the right path. Therefore, we will learn about the best Dua for wealth and barakah.

Even when life gets hard you shouldn’t stop giving out Zakah, give money to the ones who need it. Allah says:
“Whoever gives a goodly loan to Allah, he will multiply it for them abundantly, Allah is the one who withholds and gives, and to him is your final return.”

I read a story before about a woman whose life was so hard, she had to work day and night to give a decent life to her kids. Her salary wasn’t enough; however, she gave out zakah, and whenever she found someone who needs money she would help right away. Do you know what she said? She said that every day I would return home and find that what I made throughout the day is more than enough.

Allah helped that woman because she had a kind heart. She knew deep inside and had faith that Allah will help her. And that’s what happened. Allah rewarded her for her kindness and faith in him.

Let’s learn more about the best dua for Rizq and wealth.
Which Dua is good for wealth?
The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“Wealth does not decrease because of charity, and Allah increases His slave in honor when he forgives others. And no one humbles himself before.”

The best way to ask Allah to increase your wealth and Barakah is by giving Sadaqah and zakah. Give out money and help the ones in need for the sake of Allah. And your wealth shall increase.

The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him said): “Tie your camel and put your trust in Allah.”

You should work hard and leave it All to Allah and your Rizq (sustenance) and Barakah (blessings) shall increase.

Here are some wealth dua to ask Allah to increase your Rizq and Barakah (Wealth and Blessings).

Allahumma akfini bi halallika ‘an haraamika, wa aghnini bi fadlika ‘amman siwaka

“O Allah! Provide me with lawful (Halal) livelihood, adequate to my needs instead of the unlawful (Haram), and make me suffice with Your graces needing nothing from anyone else.”

Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘Ilman naafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan

“O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.”

Rabbana aatina fiddunya hasanatan wafil akhirati hasanatan waqina adhabannaar

“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Rabbi inni limaa ‘anzalta ‘ilayya min khayrin-faqeer

“O my Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me.”

Allahumma inni a‛oodhu bika mi-nal-ham-mi wal-hazzan, wal-‛ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa da-la‛id-day-ni, wa ghalaba-tir-rijaal

“O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.
Which Surah is best for wealth?
Surah Waqiah is one of the best and most powerful surahs for wealth. Many people read it to increase their wealth. It is well-known for being ‘the Surah of wealth’.
The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) said, ‘Whoever recites Surah al-Waqi’ah every night, he will never be afflicted by poverty.”
How do you ask Allah for wealth?
Here are what you should do to Ask Allah for wealth:
1.     Make Dua for wealth.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us to say the following Dua to ask Allah to increase our Barakah and wealth.
“Oh Allah, I ask for beneficial knowledge, good wealth, and accepted deeds (actions). “
2.     Acknowledge and thank Allah for what you have.
It’s important to say Dua wealth, however, if you don’t appreciate the things, you already have in life no matter what Allah gives you, you won’t even notice it.

We all have great things in life that other people wish to have but we take it for granted. Having a job even if you don’t like it is a gift that you don’t appreciate. Do you know how many people out there are unemployed and looking for a job like yours?

Rizq, Barakah, or wealth comes in different forms and you should be thankful for it. Acknowledge what you have and Allah will give you more. Stop comparing yourself with others and you will notice the many blessings you have in your life.

Looking at what you have will make you notice how blessed you are. You will feel happy and all the stress you feel will disappear. That is the first step for wealth and Barakah.

Allah says:

“Indeed, Allah is the Bestower of bounties upon the people, but most of the people are not thankful.” [Surah Ghafir,61.]
Always be thankful and Allah will reward you.
3.     ISTIGHFAR to increase one’s wealth.
Allah says in the holy Quran:
“And, ask forgiveness of your Lord, indeed he is a perpetual forgiver. He will rain down from the skies in abundance, and increase you in wealth and children, and make for you gardens and rivers.” [Surah Nuh, 10]
Istighfar is a way of asking Allah for forgiveness, it’s a great dua for wealth and Barakah. There’s a famous story about a scholar of Islam, Hassan Al-Basri. Three men came to him and they were all complaining of different problems. One complained that he doesn’t have children. The second complained that there was no rain, while the third complained about poverty. He told the three men to Ask Allah for forgiveness.

The people who were present at that time asked him why he gave the three men the same advice even though they had different problems. His answer was: “have you not heard the verse of Allah, where he says:
“And, ask forgiveness of your Lord, indeed he is a perpetual forgiver. He will rain down from the skies in abundance, and increase you in wealth and children, and make for you gardens and rivers.”
4.     Give Zakah and Sadaqah and Allah will increase your wealth.
Sadaqah and Zakah are the means of increasing one’s wealth and Barakah.

Allah says:

“Whoever gives a goodly loan to Allah, he will multiply it for them abundantly, Allah is the one who withholds and gives, and to him is your final return.” [Surah Al Baqarah 145]
Whenever you get the opportunity to give out money to the ones in need do it without hesitation for Allah’s sake. And believe me, you will be amazed by the Rizq and Barakah that comes from nowhere.
5.     Pray Tahajjud.
Wake up in the last third of the night and pray Tahajud (the time before the Fajr prayer). Pray an ask Allah to increase your wealth and open the doors of Rizq for you. wish for anything you want and it shall come true. It is the best time to say the Dua for wealth and Barakah.
6.     Don’t do anything Haram.
Even when you feel like there is no way out, doing something Haram (forbidden) doesn’t. it’s just your head playing with you. the only way to ask Allah for an increase in Wealth and Rizq is by doing Halal jobs. Forbidden things will only lead to poverty.
What Allah says about Rizq?
Allah mentioned Rizq and wealth in the Quran many times. Here are some of the verses:

“As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, for them is forgiveness and a noble provision.”

“Whoever gives a goodly loan to Allah, he will multiply it for them abundantly, Allah is the one who withholds and gives, and to him is your final return.” [Surah Al Baqarah 145]

“There is no animal on the earth, but that its sustenance lies with Allah, and He knows its] enduring [abode and its temporary place of lodging. Everything is in a manifest Book.”

“Worldly life has been glamorized for the faithless, and they ridicule the faithful. But those who are God wary shall be above them on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah provides for whomever He wishes without any reckoning.”
