Tanween in Quran is important, when knowing its rules, you will be able to read the holy Quran correctly. And here we will learn everything you need to know about it. Arabic has vowels just like in English, and Tanween is one of the Arabic vowels. Vowels in Arabic is very important, with them you will be able to read words with no mistakes. Sometimes it’s called “end of word vowels”, the reason behind that name is that it’s used at the end of the words. And it’s used to vocalize constants. When you find at the end of the word you will add the sound ‘n’ to the word. For example, in the word “مرحبًا”, we can see the tanween sign therefore we will pronounce it as “marhban”. Surah Fussilat is also called “Ha Meem Sajdah” and in English, it means “expounded/ explain in detail, or Ha Meem prostration”. One of the shortest surahs in the holy Quran is surah Nasr , why was it revealed? When it was revealed and where? Let’s find out. Why was surah Nasr revealed? The surah shows that in the future Muslims will be victorious in the conquest of Mecca. Allah asks his prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) to thank him through glorifying Him and ask for forgiveness for the upcoming victory. Surah an Nasr is the surah number 110 in the holy Quran and the number 102 in the order of revelation.
